What if I’m not tech savvy?
Your only requirement is to show up, which means you will need to login to Writer’s Haven on Kumospace, the platform where Writer’s Haven is hosted. Anything else you need help with, The Word Wizard will work her magic and teach you what you need to know.
Is this a religious or spiritual group?
Not at all. Mary created this community for writers and authors alike. She does not hide her faith, nor does she expect you to hide yours. Especially if you are writing in genres or about topics that relate to your faith.
Can I use Writer’s Haven to collaborate with other authors?
Absolutely! While we need to be respectful of the work of our colleagues, we are here to build a community and grow together. When you face a challenge with your writing, reach out to the other members. Either they are dealing with the same issue, or they have overcome it. Collaboration is a huge part of what Writer’s Haven was built for!
What is Word Wizard Magic?
It is typing the end on your manuscript. It is unboxing the first shipment of your books, looking at it, really looking at it, and realizing you accomplished your dream. It is seeing your book out there, in the wild, being loved by someone you don’t even know. The Word Wizard has seen and experienced all of these magical moments, and she wants to help you feel the same way, about YOUR book!
